Pokhara Tour Plans

After Kathmandu, Pokhara is the second-largest city in Nepal. The town is located about 200 kilometres to the west of Kathmandu. It is a well-liked starting point for treks because it is situated at the base of the Annapurna range. The charming Lakeside Pokhara neighbourhood and the Old City make up Pokhara. The Old City is Pokhara’s commercial centre, while the Lakeside area has a wide variety of tourist attractions and stunning views. Both places are acceptable places to stay, though we advise Lakeside. The North and Southsides of the Lakeside are further separated.

Pashupatinath Temple

One of the four most significant religious sites in Asia for followers of Shiva is Pashupatinath, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The site itself is said to have existed from the beginning of the millennium when a Shiva lingam was discovered here. It was constructed in the 5th century and later renovated by Malla kings. It is the largest temple complex in Nepal and extends on both sides of the Hindu-honored Bagmati River. The main pagoda-style temple features exquisite wood carvings, a gilded roof, and four silver-coated sides. A number of other Hindu and Buddhist deities are honoured in the temples that surround Pashupatinath.
